Long time no speak. Just over a year has flown by and I am slightly behind with my goal of doing one blog post a month 😂

It's been a tricky year which firstly started off with the build up to the Paris 2024 Olympics and my role in supporting Micky in his quest for an Olympic Gold medal. It was intense, rewarding but ultimately ended up fruitless when the Olympics didn't quite go Micky's way and he missed out on a medal.

Starting off in Palma we had a stunning day for an Ovington photo shoot:

The regatta itself was a mixed bag for myself. Faster, fitter but a few bad calls left me 19th overall.

Fair to say it was pretty packed in our van.

Moving onto Hyeres and I bet Dimitri I couldn't put all my sail numbers, GBRs, stickers and flags on within 30 minutes. 24 minutes later:

The regatta started off well with a 4th but sadly that night I got badly ill and was bed bound for a couple of days. Ah well.

Next up we moved to Garda for bit of a fitness/speed camp.

After Garda I was starting to ramp up my WASZP sailing again, ready for the worlds in August. I stopped off at Lake Como on the way home, a really stunning place, and rented a WASZP for a couple of days.

Back to the UK and I was lucky enough to be invited to Goodwood Festival of Speed by Polestar. Even went up the iconic hill climb in the Polestar 2. Insane speed And a great day out.
